可以用"greeting!".
如果你對收信人熟悉,可以問候他:How are you?

"Dear all" is the only way to grouping the people you need them attention, whom told you it's in-proper? why you dont ask the guy who say this ??

如果是非常熟悉關系感覺像朋友的人,可以直接用 Hi ***,開頭, ***是名字(一般不用姓專),第一個字母屬大些,Hi後面不帶逗號只有空格,名字後面加逗號。然後另起一行寫正文。
如果已經很熟悉但感覺還算不上朋友的人,Dear ***,開頭, ***是此人的名字
如果是不熟悉的人,用Dear Mr.*** ;Dear Ms ***開頭,***是此人的姓。
如果第一次寫信且不知道姓名,用Dear Sir, Dear Madam
